The Levenshulme-based community market has been recognised by Manchester Food & Drink Festival in its ‘Best Food & Drink Pop Up Event’ category. You can vote in this category and more via this link. The endorsement arrives as Levy Food & Drink Festival serves up its second week of events and adds to their BBC Food & Farming Awards nomination earlier this year. As well as extending its mantelpiece for more future accolades, Levy Market is preparing for this Saturday’s event at the usual venue, behind the train station, which will specialise in Vintage, Fashion and Flea stallholders. While browsing for clothes, you can also expect to smell the appetising aromas of the area’s finest street food traders, alongside fresh produce to take home with you supplied by the likes of award-winning Trove bakery, Reddy Lane Market Garden and Winter Tarn Cheese.

Sat 20 Jun, Levy Market, behind Levenshulme train station, Stockport Road, Manchester, 10am-4pm, FREE entry, www.levymarket.com
