The Village Haul is a regular vintage and handmade fair which is held in Prestwich. Taking place this Saturday is the Haul’s grand Spring Fair. Spring doesn’t technically begin until Sunday, but let’s not ruin the fun. You’ll find a plethora of traders with all sorts of retro goods from the mid-twentieth century, including: homeware, art prints, and clothing. Also on sale will be contemporary crafts, such as jewellery, soft toys, and beauty products. KIOSK will be on hand with light refreshments, and Chef Wendy Swetnam will be presenting her signature dish: Gin & tonic cake. Throughout the day, there will be workshops for children, where little ‘uns can create an outfit for their favourite toy, or make their own sock bunny. Entry to the fair is free, but the workshops cost £5 per child. Please see the website below for more details.
