As part of its 80th birthday celebrations, the Plaza in Stockport will be holding an all-day screening of its newsreel archive at a special price of 80 pence. Whether you decide to pop in for five minutes or stay for the full day, The News Parade screenings will be a chance to experience the feel of the golden age of cinema. Having recently been restored to its former glory as a 1930s super-cinema and theatre, the Plaza will have fully renovated ticket machines, vending original ticket stock on the day.
