At the end of this month, Font on New Wakefield Street is hosting a one-night-only art exhibition. Called Viv the event showcases new artworks inspired by Vivienne Westwood. It is hosted by artist Mark Jermyn and, among others, features a number of his hand designed screen prints, which are inspired by the punk aesthetic of the renowned British fashion designer. There will also be an after party with DJs, free beers, and cocktails in homage of Britain alternative queen. One lucky visitor will get to take home set of prints from the exhibition worth over £200. All you have to do come dressed in an outfit inspired by the great lady herself. People are advised to raid their wardrobe for items which are punk, couture, and/or tartan.
