Wall-to-wall beers: The Epicurean opens its doors in Ancoats

City centre pint lovers rejoice, as The Epicurean has thrown open the doors on its new Ancoats bottleshop.

Affectionately known simply as ‘The Beer People’ thanks to their established spots across Didsbury, Chorlton and Heaton Moor, the latest addition marks the business’ first venture into town.

Boasting over 500 different beers, whether you’re looking for a crisp German lager, or an extravagantly-titled stout, it’s probably safe to assume they’ll have you covered.

There’ll be a whole host of local favourites from the likes of Track, Pomona Island, Cloudwater, Manchester Union and Beatnikz, along with an admirable collection of pours from harder-to-source international breweries.

If you can’t make it to the shop just yet, there’s always the online store to get your delicious tinnies delivered straight to your doorstep.

The new spot has opened up right next door to Kerb Wine too, which is nothing if not convenient.
