Following a highly successful tour supporting Frightened Rabbit, Scotland’s Washington Irving go out on a tour of their own with the first part of their debut album. Boldly separating their freshman effort into two, the folk-rock act clearly have a lot to say, and a lovely way of saying it. They hit the back room of The Castle this Sunday for a night of uplifting sound and frenzied instrumentation that will further install them as ‘big things for 2013’ and add to their already fervent following. Pop down to the intimate venue before they start playing bigger, soul-less arenas while you have the chance.
