If you head to Salford Quays next weekend stumble upon the Waterside Food and Craft Market. It takes place on the plaza outside the Lowry Outlet, but don’t let that put you off. You’ll find over 30 stalls of seasonal produce from the UK and abroad, including artisan breads, homemade chocolates, and real ales. Also on sale will be crafts, including homemade gifts, homeware, jewellery, and plants. And while parents shop, kids can keep occupied on an inflatable obstacle course. However, the main attraction for the little ‘uns will be the Minions. Those ‘funny’ characters from Despicable Me have their own spinoff movie which will be playing at the Outlet’s Vue Cinema. To celebrate, on the Saturday, there will be poor fools dressed up as the grinning yellow blighters. The market will return the middle weekend of each month until November.
