For the first time ever, the Irish wildlife cameraman and television presenter Colin Stafford-Johnson will be sharing his stories with UK theatre audiences. His show, Living a Wild Life, comes to Waterside in Sale in early October. Illustrated with his own film footage and photography, the talk will feature natural history stories, including the challenges of filming in the great outdoors. Colin lived in India for many years, and explored the declining tiger population. Here, he filmed the BBC documentary A Tiger called Broken Tail, which highlights the plight of these creatures in the wild. Closer to home: he toured Ireland in a camper van, filming some of the best-known national history sequences of his home country. This led to the shows Wild Ireland, and Secret Life of the Shannon, amongst others. This evening event is two hours, including an interval. There will be Q&A session in the second half.
