Scottish indie quartet We Were Promised Jetpacks have unveiled plans for an extensive autumn tour starting in the US throughout September and October, before heading back to the UK for a string of shows in November including a night at our own Deaf Institute. The announcement comes with news that the cult indie outfit have signed a new record deal with label Big Scary Monsters, with fans anticipating a follow-up to 2014 album ‘Unravelling’ on the horizon. Recently reverting back to their original line-up, the Edinburgh cohorts will be celebrating their 10th anniversary of debut release ‘These Four Walls’ next year, though their original formation stretches back to 2003. A performance at Soup Kitchen back in November sold out in no time, with fans flocking to catch their visceral and brooding live show in the flesh.
