Take your time to explore a wealth of fine foods, drink, arts and crafts at Spinningfields monthly two-day Makers Market this May. With over 80 stalls to tickle your fancy there is genuinely something for everyone, especially if you’ve got an appetite. Food traders include Oh My Glaze (we love the sweet potato fries) and the Bad Boy Burgers (pictured) from What’s Your Beef, no forgetting treats from Manchester Doughnuts. If you’re looking to fill your shopping bags as well as your stomach then there’s vintage jewellery from Sadie Cinnamon, Gizmobots avant-garde robots, guilt-free pies from the Vegan Pie Pod. Four legged friends are very welcome too; they even have a couple of devoted stalls in the shape of Pixie Posh Pets and Bib and Tucker for accessories and snacks. Shopping is thirsty work and the market also sells locally crafted brews. There’s a special appearance from Pure Shots this month too, who will be serving expertly blended cocktails all weekend. Entertainment is free too – courtesy of Manchester’s favourite DJ, Pasta Paul.
