Levy Market returns for its second new weekly event this Saturday, as it continues to spread the word of the area’s hidden gems and talent. The market will take place each Saturday from March until December – it’s already sold out over 50 stalls every week until June – with each week offering fresh groceries alongside rotating themes for each Saturday of the month. This weekend it’s the Handmade and Home market, where you can browse: records, CDs and cassettes from new vinyl trader Analog Archives; mid-century homeware from Hot Pots’; textile and crochet from Jo Shapero Designs; Sox Felt Sew Good’s sock animals and felt creations (pictured); as well as artwork, jewellery, furniture and more. Be sure to also check out the brand new real ale bar, market café and covered seating area, so you can enjoy the local flavours – including Bobby’s Bangers, Kawaii cupcakes, Mio Pizza and Winter Tarn Farm – whatever the weather.
