‘What Love Would Want’ sees photographer Andy Fallon simultaneously create a new video and photographic portraits of real couples from different cultural, racial, and sexual backgrounds with a team of artists will create an interactive display of relationships live on stage at the Bridgewater Hall. The performance will feature a live recording by singer-songwriter Tim Arnold and the 50-strong Manchester Lesbian and Gay Chorus. There will also be a dance interpretation by performance artist Lindsay Kemp, best known for his work with David Bowie and Kate Bush. As well as spectating, the audience are free to go onstage and immerse themselves in the production. The show will be followed by a Q&A session with the creators. ‘What Love Would Want’ was premiered in Soho, where it received glowing reviews from Stephen Fry and Peter Tatchell.
