Unique to the British Isles, this year’s Bonfire night will be louder and more spectacular than before, with three of the city’s main parks (and many more) playing host to huge fireworks displays, food stalls, flaming mountains and fun fairs. As part of the fifth of November celebrations, Manchester Markets will be keeping belly’s warm with hotdogs and Asian streets foods, traditional bonfire night treats. The biggest events take place in Platt Fields, Wythenshawe Park and Heaton Park, with fireworks displays from 7.30pm and bonfires from 8pm.
