Aptly named, the debut solo show by photographer Daniel Cheetham documents the overspill estates of Greater Manchester. Looking into the history of the Langley Estate in Middleton, he discovered that is was one of the 1950s-era ‘overspill sites’, built by the city council to rehouse hundreds of families from decaying inner city areas – with mixed results. For this show he visited Darnhill, Gamesley, Hattersley, Haughton Green and Whitefield 60 years after their construction, turning his lens on the current environment and community.

There is a private view on Thursday (21 Feb), which is sponsored by Jamesons Irish Whiskey (reason enough to attend in itself, we think). To register your interest click here.
