Another month, another very nice Now Wave and Hit & Run collaboration on the horizon. This time they’re bringing young Canadian Ryan Hemsworth to the rejuvenated and rebranded NQ Live (formerly known as Moho) as part of his European tour. Blissed-out RnB beats that retain enough of an edge to work in a club setting mixed up with a couple of big name trap-stylee bootlegs equals a winning formula in 2013 – making this another on-point booking from an increasingly noteworthy promoting superteam. On support duties is very promising, 6music-tipped local youngster Werkha, who’ll be bringing a lovely, funky warmth to proceedings. Keep an eye on this kid.
