Don’t miss your chance to bid a messy farewell to an historic nightlife haunt, as Legends hosts the season’s most notorious bash. For 13 years, until its demise in 2008, Electric Chair attracted the biggest names in leftfield dance music to a basement full of wildly enthusiastic punters. Their annual reunions preserve its riotous spirit. For this final visit to Legends, the Unabombers welcome US house kingpins Karizma and Chez Damier, with local nights, Aficionado and Content, hosting rooms, as well as an appearance on the decks from hometown disco nutters Crazy P. Shack regulars will enjoy a return visit from Ashley Beedle, who plays back-to-back all evening with the much-missed Kelvin Brown – last year their set covered all bases in the soul spectrum, from Wiley to Fela Kuti via Digital Mystikz. Check out this mix by Pete Herbert for a taste of what to expect.
Thu 27 Dec, Legends, 6 Whitworth Street, M1 3QW, 10pm – 4am, £19.50/ £21.50. www.skiddle.com
