Manchester International Festival 2015 is just around the corner. So if, like us, you left getting your tickets a bit late, here’s a round up of what tickets remain on sale and, more importantly, what stuff you can do over the two week festival for free.

1. Free things to see and do with no ticket required
These include an interactive art show by Ed Atkins, Performance Capture at Manchester Art Gallery. There’s also a show of new work by world-famous painter, Gerhard Richter with a companion, newly composed choral music piece by Arvo Part being performed throughout the day during the festival at The Whitworth. Albert Square will also be transformed into Festival Square for the period. Everyone’s favourite ice cream vendor, Ginger’s Comfort Emporium will be there throughout, selling food and drink. The Square will also be hosting DJs like Dave Haslam, Greg Thorpe and more.

2. £12 Greater Manchester Resident tickets
Click on the links below to book tickets for the following shows: Damon Albarn’s homage to Alice in Wonderland, wonder.land, the kids favourite, The Tale of Mr Tumble, The Immortal, Invisible Dot Cabaret and Maxine Peake’s big day out as The Skriker.

3. Normal price tickets.
Tickets are still on sale at normal prices for the following shows:
wonder.land, The Tale of Mr Tumble, Jamie xx’s ballet, Tree of Codes, The Immortal, Invisible Dot Cabaret, The Crocodile and A Manchester Walking Tour.
