Willing feet required: Work Them ft. Kiosque at Soup Kitchen

While a lot of nights will go out of their way to accommodate you as long as you pay the entry fee and buy a couple of drinks, the beauty of Work Them is that it’s always seemed gloriously indifferent to whether the masses will actually turn up. In fact, it’s always been about playing to the right people rather than the most people, as resident John Loveless pumps out expansive mixes to draw in the like-minded and weed out the interlopers – even helpfully pre-sorting with Soundcloud. For this particular sojourn, local boy Kiosque has been invited along – with a debut album due out on much-loved label 100% Silk later in the year, we’re anticipating a set made up of analogue samples and loops.
