Manchester’s new bowling alley, All Star Lanes, is the first of the brand’s retro-cool venues to launch outside of London. We enjoyed a sneak preview this week and fell in love with the 1950s-style restaurant (the pork and beans and popcorn squid are excellent), huge, spacious bar and very cool lanes section, with a private room available to hire. It’s located in the heart of the Great Northern Warehouse opposite what used to be Bar 38 and just across the road from Trof’s new Albert Hall venue.
