Following the overwhelming success of Giselle in 2019, the award-winning Dada Masilo returns to The Lowry with The Sacrifice this March.
Inspired by The Rite of Spring, renowned choreographer Dada Masilo presents a fusion of explosive contemporary dance with the expressive movements of ‘Tswana’, the traditional dance of Botswana which is rooted in story-telling and healing ritual.
Featuring live onstage music and innovative interpretive dances, The Sacrifice combines traditional movements with healing rituals to create an unforgettable production and visual spectacle.
