Acclaimed German contemporary circus and dance company Overhead Project are set to embark on their first UK tour with their show What is left?, arriving at The Lowry on Mon 20 Mar.

Positioned somewhere on the border of contemporary circus and dance, Overhead Project channel two languages that allow different perspectives on the body and a multidimensional approach towards space and architectural thinking.

Since 2017, Overhead Project have been producing shows as trilogies. What is left? is the last show of the Geometry and Politics trilogy.

What is Left? starts from the frontal classroom arrangement and deals with spatial structures that shape human communication culture. Familiar to us from theatres, the waiting situation at counters, the hierarchy in a courtroom, in school or in church, these spaces all demand and structure the gaze attention of bodies in space. This performance is dedicated to these subtle and not always perceptible architectural structures that create a field of tension between space and body, communication and power.

Note: This show contains nudity.

We’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to the group’s lowry performance on Mon 20 Mar, all you have to do is fill in the form below.
