The hugely acclaimed festival of arts, music and food, Festival No.6, takes place in Portmeirion, Wales, home of the cult TV series The Prisoner in September this year. The line up includes The Flaming Lips, Mogwai, Goldie and Maxine Peake and a new Festival of Feasting – a festival within the festival, if you will – has just been announced. Enjoy rolling service throughout the day from 1-9pm with Dinner at Clough’s, a changing chef dining concept which takes up weekend residence in the spectacular Hotel Portmeirion. Co-head chefs Andy Oliver and Mark Dobbie from East London’s hottest restaurant SomSaa will serve a Thai feast on the Friday, Manchester House Restaurant supremo Aiden Byrne will cook up his greatest culinary hits on Saturday, and on Sunday Michelin-starred chef Paul Ainsworth will invoke international flavours stretching from Cornwall to Japan. There’s a thrilling programme of art and literature to enjoy too, as well as forest discos, street food and one of the most atmospheric festival settings on earth. We’re lucky enough to have two weekend passes with camping to give away. To be in with a chance of winning, simply email competitions [at] manchesterwire [dot] co [dot] uk with your name, age, Twitter handle and phone number. Competition closes on Monday 19 June at midnight and we’ll tweet the lucky Festival goer the following day.
