Like the idea of a world class music festival in the grounds of a real life castle in Cheshire? Look no further than One Tribe, which takes over the Cholmondeley estate for five days in August 2017. The full line up is being announced at the start of March but acts confirmed so far include German DJ du jour Move D, Juan Atkins, Lone, Psychemagik, DJ Bone, Boddika, Slam, Marcus Intalex, DJ Hype, Calibre, Sonic Species, E-Clip and Gaudi. The six stages – including 24-hour venues – take in everything from world tribal to folk, jazz, funk, reggae, drum & bass, house, techno,  psychedelic trance and more. This is the festival’s second instalment organised by Manchester promoters Audio Farm who’ve hosted events at Sound Control, Islington Mill and Antwerp Mansion and Festival Number 6. Other attractions include a site-wide nightly live jam (just bring an instrument of your choice to join in) and circus workshops, arts and crafts as well as forest-based yoga, meditation, holistic and alternative therapy workshops and sessions. All profits from the 2000 capacity event will be used to fund The Green Paw Project – a charity that saves the lives of animals in low income countries around the world.
