Edinburgh’s electro-jazz outfit Hidden Orchestra bring their new live show to Band on the Wall this week for an extra special show designed with visual artist Lumen. Featuring a projection-mapped installation live A/V show on a stage built entirely of drum heads, Lumen works to capture Hidden Orchestra’s haunting music, which has been described by The Skinny as ‘a highly-emotive, celluloid-inspired journey through one of the greatest films never made’. Synchronising with the collective’s already-captivating live performance, this will be anything but your standard show. Support comes from Mind The Fire DJs, who will be on the decks for pre- and post-show vibes. What’s more, we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to Wire readers – to win them, simply email competitions at manchesterwire dot co dot uk with ‘Hidden Orchestra competition’ as the subject, including your name, age, Twitter handle and the answer to the question below. We’ll announce the winner on Thursday afternoon.
