Withington’s all-vegan restaurant Herbivorous has opened its doors

Inspired by the American-style vegan food explosion, Withington high street’s latest gem, Herbivorous, has finally opened its doors to the public.

The bricks and mortar location marks Herbivorous’ first-ever permanent spot, following its popularity and success at Hatch. With a colourful interior filled with plants and festival shots, an ode to the restaurant’s street food roots, it’s sure to be a chilled out place to kick back and relax over a guilt-free plate of cracking scran.

Featuring freshly-made seitan, killer cocktails and a whole range of indulgent desserts – this spot will completely revolutionise vegan eating in this little suburb of south Manchester.

Proudly carrying much-loved mains like the Big Kahuna burger and the Philly Cheesesteak, along with mouthwatering homemade sauces to accompany all the paprika fries you can stomach – you’ll be sure to leave this place having been sent into a happy vegan food coma.
