Work Them returns to Soup Kitchen for the first time this year, for a party with their new favourite artist, Fort Romeau. London-based Mike Norris (pictured) has been making music since the age of 14 and, after a very strong first release for 100% silk (2012’s Kingdoms), he has recently signed to Matthew Dear’s experimental institution Ghostly International. House music with pop undertones (his album was written in between gigs as La Roux’s keyboardist and drum tech), Fort Romeau has drawn comparisons with Todd Terje and Luomo. He is also an amazing 100% wax DJ – you can expect disco, plus out-there house and techno to keep you in Soup til the very end.
