It’s a tale as old as time: trying to get home to your family for Christmas but something always ends up setting you back – be it leaves on the train tracks, forgetting to get a gift for your Gran, or a well-dressed German master criminal posing as a terrorist in order to rob millions in bearer bonds from the Nakatomi Plaza. We’ve all been there, haven’t we? We wouldn’t all tackle the affair in the manner of the doyen of the dirty vest, John McClane, however. Arguably the greatest Christmas film of all time, 1980s classic Die Hard comes to the Dancehouse this festive season for a one-off screening. An explosive film that deserves to be seen on the big screen, enjoy the fully stocked bar and get ready to quote along to the very last ‘yippee ki-yay!’
