Zoe Lyons – Pop-Up Comic at The Lowry

Zoe Lyons brings her musings on the modern world to The Lowry at the end of the month, and shows that comedy can answer most of the questions to life’s peccadilloes. Having both worked as a psychologist (she graduated from York with a degree in psychology in 1992) and appeared on the original reality show Survivor (in 2001 she came 11th out of 16 contestants), Lyons has seen enough of life’s misdeeds to comment on them with some expertise. Thankfully she does this in a hilarious manner with her mix of satire, silliness and caustic one liners. She has appeared on shows such as Mock the Week, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Dave’s One Night Stand and won Dave TV’s Funniest Joke of the Fringe 2008.
