Stephen James book launch at Night & Day Café

This August, local writer Stephen James is hosting a night of poetry and music at the Night & Day Café on Oldham Street. You may know Stephen as the organiser of the Spoken Word Showcase at The Crescent pub, Salford, which we’ve covered previously. At this event, however, he will be reading excerpts from his newly published book, A Series of Poems About, Inspired By and Written in London and Manchester. There will be an eclectic mix of music to support on the night, with psych-folk act The Bear Around Your Neck plus local hardcore punk band Denim & Leather.
