Long-running Manchester collective Mind on Fire take over Band on the Wall in collaboration with Tru Thoughts for a night to celebrate the release of local producer Werkha’s Beacons EP. Championed by tastemaker extraordinaire Giles Peterson, Werkha has enjoyed plenty of attention lately and his unique style – which draws inspiration from all corners of the globe – is in high demand. Joining Werkha and the Mind on Fire residents on the night will be recent Tru Thoughts signings Harleighblu and DJ Matthew Halsall of Gondwana Records.
