The city’s favourite alpine pop-up is gearing up to bring another round of festive magic back to Great Northern Square, as Bar Hütte returns for its fifth year of après-ski fun.

Once again transforming the Deansgate plaza into a twinkling mountain resort, Bar Hütte stages another winter wonderland packed with cosy karaoke cabins, a heated party lodge and a programme of DJs spinning seasonal classics throughout the colder months. Inspired by Europe’s best ski destinations, the pop-up offers unrivalled festive escapism, from warming winter cocktails and steaming pizzas to private karaoke and Christmas party packages.

This year’s menu introduces brand-new Bombardinos – an Italian après-ski staple made with rum, cream, cinnamon and a cloud of whipped cream – alongside the notorious shot-skis and endlessly Instagrammable cocktail list. For larger gatherings, both the lodge and private hüttes can cater for office parties, group nights out or date nights with a yuletide twist.

As well as karaoke, guests can book onto a programme of creative Christmas craft sessions, including wreath-making workshops and freestyle painting classes, with Santa himself set to stop by to greet younger visitors.

To celebrate five years at Great Northern, Bar Hütte are offering Half Price Hüttes Monday to Wednesday for pre-bookings, giving everyone the chance to warm up their vocal cords in style.

Bar Hütte at Great Northern Square opens Wed 12 Nov, and with weekends already filling up, early booking is highly recommended.

Find out more and book via the Bar Hütte website. For larger groups and exclusive bookings, contact the team at manchester@barhutte.co.uk.
