An electric new dance production inspired by the landscape and culture of West Kerry in Ireland heads to Lowry next month.
MÁM will see 12 incredible dancers transform Lowry’s stage into a whirlwind of myth and magic, set to a collaborative soundtrack created by virtuoso Irish traditional concertina player Cormac Begley and European classical contemporary collective s t a r g a z e, performed live on stage.

Described as ‘90 minutes of ritualised ecstasy’ by The Irish Times, the Olivier Award-nominated show has enjoyed sellout performances at Sadler’s Wells and at festivals all around the world. Now embarking on its much-anticipated UK debut tour, MÁM comes to Lowry Tue 3 Feb – Wed 4 Feb.

‘MÁM is full of engrossing dancing, fantastic music, subtle meanings and real humanity. This is a choreographer on a roll’ – The Guardian
