The Station pub in Altrincham has announced it will undergo a major £250,000 refurbishment this month.

The much-loved spot says it will relaunch as a ‘stylish, completely reimagined destination’. The venue will be fully remodelled throughout, featuring a brand-new bar, upgraded toilets, new flooring, and enhanced lighting, alongside the launch of a striking new outdoor courtyard space complete with ambient lighting and wall projections.

A significant new audio-visual upgrade sees 12 HD screens installed throughout the venue, including in the courtyard. Entertainment is central to the new Station experience, with free pool tables and interactive darts available for guests, alongside full sports coverage across all major events.

The venue also offers several semi-private areas available for hire, with a range of drinks packages on offer. A partnership with Nell’s will also offer guests a dedicated click-and-collect service.

Chris Tulloch, Managing Director at Blind Tiger Inns, said: “The Station has been part of Altrincham for a long time. We wanted to completely transform the space to attract a different clientele and offer something for everyone – from after-work drinks and live sport to summer evenings outdoors in a modern, aesthetic setting. We’re excited to welcome both familiar faces and new guests back through the doors.”

The Station will re-open to the public on Fri 30 Jan.
