Jim Ross at Comedy Store Monday | Comedy Store | Mon 26 Aug | 8pm | £25
Anyone who grew up watching the macho posturing and almost definitely real bouts of the WWF (we refuse to call it WWE), you will be familiar with the voice of Jim Ross. The wrestling commentator Ross is coming to the Comedy Store to talk through his career and the ridiculousness that is professional wrestling. A great storyteller with a penchant for hyperbole, let JR lead you down memory lane to the Smackdown Hotel. See our full preview here.

JoJo Smith (pictured) | Jabez Clegg | Tue 27 Aug | 7.30pm | £5/3
There are many comedians out there that might claim Bill Hicks was a big influence on them, but none more than Jojo Smith, since it was a chance interview with Hicks whilst working as a journalist that lead her to take the plunge into standup. Having toured all over the world and gained notoriety in Romania, as well as ‘feminist icon’ status in South Africa, Smith has established herself as one of the best female comedians in Britain, and one of the raunchiest. Her shows are definitely not for the faint of heart.
