Jodrell Bank has unveiled a brand-new Curious Universe series that is set to launch over the May half term.
Young explorers are invited to get hands-in with a range of interactive experiences, immersive dome shows and cosmic exhibitions at the UNESCO World Heritage site.
In Mission: Create!, budding scientists can discover more about the weird and wonderful ideas of the quantum universe, while Mission: Explore! takes kids on a journey through Jodrell’s countryside ground, hunting for stamps and uncovering solar secrets along the way.
Meanwhile, over at Mission: Play!, new constellation-themed playgrounds offer little ones the chance to climb Cassiopeia and scale Cepheus.
Two new Space Dome Shows will also be shown daily throughout half term. In Niyah and the Multiverse, Niyah comes face-to-face with her grown-up astrophysicist self as she embarks on a journey through space and time, and Supermassive Black Holes: Uncovering the Invisible combines state-of-the-art observations and innovative simulations in an adventure into the heart of one of the universe’s greatest phenomena.

Jodrell Bank’s new exhibition, Cosmic Titans, will be on display, uncovering the extreme corners of our reality and delving into the science behind some of the world’s biggest questions through a series of spectacular sculptures.
Jodrell Bank’s Curious Universe half term programme runs from Sat 23 May – Sun 31 May. For more information and to book your visit, click the button below.
