In The Loop with Bill Sykes & Mothership Connection

A chance to catch some fresh hip-hop this Friday, as local crew In The Loop bring gifted wordsmith Bill Sykes to the subterranean climes of the Roadhouse, supported by hotly tipped young crew The Mothership Connection. Part of formative local hip-hop collective The Natural Curriculum, Sykes displays a ice hot wit and a gleefully foul-mouthed domination of the English language, with a refreshing irreverence shown to well, anything. Previews of a forthcoming album show plenty of promise, and we’d certainly recommend heading down and getting involved in what’s proving a golden year for Manchester hip-hop.
