Dario Argento’s classic horror film gets a timely outing in a disused office building (pictured) on Stevenson Square this Halloween by those delightful gents at Optic. One of the goriest of the Italian auteur’s oeuvre, it should not be forgotten for its instilling of true terror along with its graphic violence. Before the new wave of gore porn such as Hostel and the various Saw movies, Argento was making films he wanted to see. A master of horror, now to be seen in the creepiest of venues. They will also be serving drinks through the night, hopefully including a pumpkin beer brewed with Black Jack Brewery. Happy Halloween.
