The Scarab Boutique: Second Hand Clothes with Stories at Fuel

Ever given some clothing away that you had an unearthly attachment to? A story about an old jumper, or memories from a pair of jeans that no longer fit or suit? The Scarab Boutique is a unique second hand clothes shop that aims to help the stories continue on with the items they sell. Any clothes you couldn’t bear to part with due to their sentimental value being so high will be passed on with the garment. Reconnecting with the things we own and buy, to find a way out of our detached, throwaway culture. So bring your old clothes and stories and send them off on the next part of their journey at this evening of interactive storytelling, spoken word, fantastic live music from the likes of SHE Choir and The Magic Room Band, as well as tasty treats from Fuel’s own veggie menu.
