The blood, sweat and tears of this band will have likely guided you through tender teenage years and have been the catapult to many heartfelt club outbursts. Celebrating the grand voyage of one of Britain’s greatest exports, Pulp: a film about Life, Death & Supermarkets, Florian Habicht’s documentary tells the story of that band from Sheffield whose songs ‘Common People’ and ‘Disco 2000’ are some of the city’s badges of honour. After 25 years of fame following their vertigo-inducing heights in the ’90s, they return to their hometown for a reunion show; the results of which are behind the scenes and archive clips, performance footage, and the city’s charming affection for them; making for a witty and warm documentary. magneticNorth are kindly putting on the show for free with popcorn too, but you need to register for tickets through the venue on the link below.
