The many fans of vintage clothing will enjoy a new kind of fashion show at the end of this month. ReThink Fashion is a showcase of upcycled, recycled and reinvented clothing. Couture designer Adnan Bayyat will be presenting a collection, as will students from MMU and Manchester College. There will also be stalls and exhibitions from popular brands, such as NQ favourites Junk Shop and Stitched Up in Chorlton. The event aims to give people inspiration for a unique, fashionable, and cost-effective wardrobe. Organisers Recycle for Greater Manchester also hope it will encourage people to reuse clothes or donate them to charity, to help reduce waste. Booking is required, but is open only to people from Greater Manchester. Sorry, Wilmslovians.
