Manchester’s only undercover Christmas Market, #OffTheHighStXmasMkt, featuring local makers and bakers, brewers, burgers, vintage stalls, gifts, DJs, live music and more takes place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday between now and Christmas. The market is run by the team behind Castlefield Market and Friday Food Fight and it’s being held in the atmospheric Victorian-era Upper Campfield Market just off Deansgate. Vendors include Seven Brothers craft brewery, the Fabulous Burger Boys, boho jewellery and bags by HelixandFelix, illustrated hand made lighting and home wares by A Northern Light, and locally sourced food and drink from Didsbury’s The Epicurean. Look out for record stalls, pint-sized festive cocktails and mulled beer as well as Christmassy afternoon tea rooms. The venue has played host to everything from Victorian fruit sellers to the world premiere of Bjork’s Biophilia so it’s something of a destination in itself.
