With the turkey from Christmas now (almost) fully digested, it seems only fitting to anticipate another foodie feast in the form of Season’s Eatings spring takeover of Trove on Thursday 5 February and Kosmonaut on Wednesday 25 February. With the usual flair of the Season’s Eatings team who bring self-proclaimed ‘sunshine and adventure’ to British cooking, Trove’s takeover sees their innovative approach to seasonal produce incorporate an informal, relaxed supper club setting. The events have proved wildly popular to date – helped along by its bring-your-own-booze policy. At Kosmonaut, meanwhile, Season’s Eatings will be serving four winter-inspired courses featuring bergamot, duck and purple sprouting broccoli – so expect the exoticism of their previous style takeovers. Those expandable trousers you received for Christmas may come in handy once again.
