Expect the unexpected as American-born Thomas Truax returns to Manchester as part of The Strange Case tour. His unique and imaginative homemade instruments, the most famous of which is the Hornicator (pictured), are always a marvel to see and hear, merging domestic clicks, shakes and hisses with a tuneful yet slightly mad electronic soundscape. Truax himself is an incredibly powerful performer, wholly assuming his Tim Burton-esque persona as he kicks and jives across the stage. With his witty, subversive lyrics and energetic vocals, this promises to be a show you won’t easily forget.
