Using a text-to-speech application on his iPad, Lee Ridley aka Lost Voice Guy makes a case for being the best writer in stand up comedy, especially since that’s what he does. Suffering from Cerebral Palsy Ridley writes out his routines and delivers them with excellent timing, with self referential asides and smart observations on the trials of the disabled he won the BBC New Comedy Award last year and has gone on to be one of the most popular entertainers on the national circuit.

A very modern comic Laws uses a mix of multimedia and his own irreverent word play in his recent Edinburgh hit. Part of a growing group of outsider comedians creating their own content online Laws’ tight writing and pop culture savvy makes him one of the more exciting stand ups around.
