Ex-Easter Island Head
The unconventional Scouse guitar percussionist trio return for a second dose of Samarbeta, the fortnight-long musician residency programme (8-21 Feb) which brings together innovators in sound to produce original material ahead of a special group performance under the moniker of the Large Electric Ensemble.

Gang of Four
Through the years they’ve been a gang of many more than four, but the Leeds rebel rousers’ latest outing sees them politicising through punk rock power chords almost 40 years since their first incarnation set Marxist hearts ablaze.

A favourite of Fat Out and Islington Mill, Lydia Lunch’s artistic repertoire spans as far as the imagination can see, this time attaching her voice to the sonic output of a Weasel Walter, Tim Dahl and Bob Bert, all well-versed in the dark arts of improv. See image.
