Not an easy sentence to say quickly after a couple of their brews. Sam and Nick will be running the evening, travelling from the award-winning London-based brewery, to match four of their iconically artistic beers with pizzas made fresh from PLY’s disco ball pizza oven. Over four courses, tickets include a pizza and a beer.

Gluten Free Day at The Kitchens ft. Hip Hop Chip Shop & Chaat Cart
Arguably one of the most satisfyingly-named pop-up food outfits on the circuit, Hip Hop Chip Shop are hosting a gluten-free event at The Kitchens in Spinningfields. Having been at a wedding they catered last year, I can personally vouch for how tasty their GF fish is. They will be serving up the same delights, along with halloumi for the veggies, onion rings and their legendary chips. Joining them, Well Hung, Chaat Cart, Bangers and Bacon, Dim Sum SU Street Food and Nasi Lamak will also be creating gluten-free dishes for the event.

Mary-Ellen McTague heads up The Real Junkfood Project at The Wonder Inn
Widely acclaimed former Aumbry chef Mary Ellen-McTague is set to take over as Head Chef at Manchester’s first ‘waste food’ restaurant, The Real Junk Food Project. Based at Shudehill’s The Wonder Inn, the not-for-profit operation intercepts perfectly good food that would otherwise be thrown out, and creates culinary magic. The concept is a holistic and sustainable one, with a pay-as-you-feel policy allowing everyone access to hearty fare. Set to open in mid-March, the project will prevent food waste and provide you with McTague-inspired cuisine. Winner.
