The Thirsty Games is a new initiative from the team behind Independent Manchester Beer Convention, which offers home-brewing graduates a bigger platform for their wares. The prize is the chance to get involved in October’s IMBC alongside big names like Marble and Blackjack. Over the course of the four day beer festival, guests will be encouraged to vote on beers which are part of the Thirsty Games. Official judges will sample a selection too, and a winner will be crowned at the end of the Festival. Free to enter, The Thirsty Games is open to all sub-2bbl brewers, whether cuckoos or nanos.
