Flow Theory bring future beats to new city centre venue Stage and Radio (the old Cuba Cafe) with Soulection’s ROM and collaborator Deffie, digital soul vibes from Atlanta’s Mikkoh, More//Night (as seen in MOBO’s Ten For 2016) and the excellent Whoeva?, a Leeds beatmaker recently signed to Singapore’s Darker Than Wax. KinKai and Berry Blac on hosting duties!

Thu 22 September – Bugalu Foundation Record Launch @ Albert’s Schloss
Latin funk crew Bugalu Foundation are an absolute treat live whether you have salsa hips or not. Tonight they celebrate their first 7” record on Stutter and Twitch, with DJs from the label bookending the band playing funk, reggae and Latin sounds.

Fri 23 Sep – Fly High Society @ Eastern Bloc Records
Record shops are the new clubs! Needles down from 6pm ‘til late with the Fly High Crew celebrating the label’s first vinyl release from artists Contours and Dada Cantona. Label heads Bolts and SertOne will also be in attendance, as well as underground hero Garth Be and EB selector Bane. Expects bass and beats of all sizes.

Mr Scruff heads up a night where all proceeds go towards refurbing one of Salford’s (and indeed Manchester’s) major cultural and community institutions, Islington Mill. Kelvin Brown, Garth Be, Lucy Ironmonger and Good Afternoon provide scaffolding.
