Due to a licensing ‘mishap’, this weekend’s Grub Food Fair is a bring-your-own-booze special. Having moved last month to Alphabet Brewing Co on North Western Street behind Piccadilly Station, Grub has since gone weekly – with today’s event featuring food from Yakumama, Oh/Mei/Dumpling, The Gravy Train Poutine, The Otto-men and ChouChoux. Handily, Cave Direct – situated next door to Alphabet and open until 7pm – will be selling beer, cider and wine to take away, with Cloudwater also found nearby.
