Book now: Honeyfeet at Band on the Wall

One of Manchester’s favourite musical families, Honeyfeet, has booked a date at Band on the Wall for their next unmissable homecoming performance. Self-described as ‘ethio-trad folk hop’, they inhale influences from the many shades of jazz, blues, funk and soul before breathing out all manner of good vibes, from mouth organ-led seafaring shanties to slow-burning prog-folk. The band’s focal force in Rioghnach Connolly, a singer blessed with an unwavering command of audiences’ attentions across the UK and beyond. It’s now four years since the release of debut LP It’s a Good Job I Love You, and a second instalment of the sextet’s musical prowess is due in 2017, but the stage is still the place to be moved by their infectious melodies.
